Water Damage Repairs
Water damage is the single most common reason a caravan ends up at our workshop. Symptoms include soft floor sections, stained ceilings, soft sidewalls under windows and rust marks below the trim. We strip back to find the actual leak source, replace damaged framing and surfaces, then reseal properly. Quick cosmetic patches will fail again within 12 months.
Electrical Faults
12V and 240V faults, lithium and AGM diagnostics, charger and inverter repair, solar regulator replacement, fuse and circuit breaker work. Modern caravan electrical systems mix several technologies, and a fault in one can trigger symptoms across the others. Proper diagnostics is the difference between a fix and an expensive guess.
Gas & Plumbing
LPG leak detection and repair, regulator replacement, gas certification on modified systems, water pump replacement, tank repair and plumbing leak diagnosis. Gas work in Victoria requires a licensed gas fitter, and we hold the trade qualification in-house.
Brakes & Bearings
Brake adjustment, magnet replacement, brake drum machining or replacement, bearing replacement, hand-controller diagnostics. Brake problems on a heavy caravan are dangerous and shouldn't wait. We see a lot of brake jobs come in just before long trips, and pre-trip brake inspection is something we recommend annually.
Appliances
Fridge fault diagnostics and repair (Thetford, Dometic and others), hot water service repair, cooktop and oven repair, heater and air-conditioner repair. We're an authorised Thetford service agent, which gives us direct parts and warranty access on Thetford appliances.
Structural & Body
Panel replacement, sidewall repair, slide-out fault troubleshooting and seal replacement, awning bracket repair, A-frame and chassis work. Structural repairs need to be done in a workshop set up for the size of caravan involved, which is part of why we don't offer full structural repair on a mobile basis.

How a Caravan Repair Works in Melbourne
1. Describe the Fault
Call (03) 8383 1026 with the symptoms, or send photos and a short video of the fault. The more information we have on day one, the better we can plan the diagnostic. Intermittent faults are easier to diagnose with video evidence than from a verbal description.
2. Workshop Diagnostic
Bring the caravan in for a proper diagnostic. We confirm what's actually faulty, what's caused it, and what fix the system needs. This step matters most where the obvious symptom and the actual cause aren't the same thing.
3. Written Quote
Fixed-price written quote covering the repair before work starts. Where the eventual scope depends on what we find on tear-down (water damage in particular), we quote a contingency range and explain how it works.
4. Repair & Hand-Back
Repair, test, written workmanship warranty and hand-back. The caravan goes back to you with the fault confirmed fixed, not just papered over.
