You Have the Right to Choose Your Repairer
Under most Australian caravan insurance policies, the policyholder has the right to nominate their own repairer. Insurers may suggest a preferred or partner repairer, but they cannot force you to use one. The General Insurance Code of Practice supports this right of nomination on most personal lines policies. If you're being told you must use a specific repairer, ask the insurer to put that requirement in writing with reference to your policy wording, and call us before you sign anything.
This matters because your repairer choice affects repair quality, parts authenticity, warranty status and how much pressure there is to write off the caravan rather than repair it. As an authorised agent for several caravan manufacturers, repairs we do preserve your factory warranty. That isn't always true at preferred-repairer shops working outside the manufacturer authorisation network.

On approval, we book the repair work. Repairs run from a few days for minor body work to several weeks for major hail or accident damage. At hand-back you receive a written workmanship warranty and the full paperwork pack for your records.
