Full-Service Caravan and RV Repair, All Under One Roof

Focus RV Group repairs everything on a caravan, campervan or motorhome that can go wrong, from small appliance faults through to major structural rebuilds. All work happens at our Campbellfield workshop where body, mechanical, electrical, gas, plumbing and cabinetry trades are on the same floor.

That matters because caravan faults rarely sit in one discipline. A water ingress problem affects timber framework, internal lining, electrical wiring and cabinetry all at once. A collision affects panels, wiring, gas lines and sometimes the chassis. A general mechanic can handle one of those; a general smash repairer can handle another. A specialist caravan workshop is the only place where all six disciplines sit under one roof, which means the fault gets diagnosed and fixed in one project rather than shipped between three different workshops.

We repair all major caravan brands, most campervan platforms and every motorhome category including A-class, C-class, slide-ons and pop-tops. If your van isn't listed on the site, call us and we'll confirm whether we can work on it.

What We Repair

Below is the main list of repair work we handle. Most caravan faults land in one or more of these categories. If yours isn't listed, it's still worth calling.

Water Damage Repair

Water ingress diagnosis, delamination repair, rotten timber replacement, internal lining and resealing. Water damage is one of the most common repair categories we see, and the earlier it's diagnosed the smaller the rebuild.

Body & Panel Repair

Collision damage, hail repair, panel replacement, fibreglass repair and refinishing. Body work is often coupled with insurance claims; we're an approved repairer with six major insurers.

Electrical Faults

12V system faults, 240V circuit faults, charging and battery issues, solar controller problems, appliance electrical faults and new installations. Licensed electrician on site, with compliance certificates issued at hand-back.

Gas Repair & Compliance

LPG leaks, regulator faults, cooktop and fridge gas work, heater faults and Type A gas compliance inspections. Gas work is carried out by a licensed Type A gas fitter and certified on completion.

Plumbing & Water Systems

Pressure pump failure, fresh and grey water tank leaks, hot water system faults, grey water blockages, taps and fittings. Water system work is often the first sign of a larger ingress problem, so we usually inspect the full system when we fix a leak.

Appliance Repair & Replacement

Fridges, cooktops, rangehoods, heaters, air-conditioners, TVs, audio-visual and microwaves. Authorised service agent for Thetford appliances and others.

Structural Repairs

Chassis welding, wall framework repair, roof replacement and floor replacement. Structural work is often paired with water damage repair and refurbishment.

Running Gear & Brakes

Wheel bearings, brake service, suspension, tow-hitch, weight-distribution hitch set-up and axle alignment. Pre-trip inspections often flag bearing and brake wear early.

Slide-Out & Awning Repair

Slide-out motors and seals, awning assembly repair, wind-out arm replacement, awning fabric replacement and motor-driven awning faults.

Roof & Sealing

Roof membrane replacement or repair, sealant replacement, skylight replacement, vent repair and air-conditioner gasket replacement. Roof sealing is worth checking annually on every caravan.

Why Caravan Owners Book Repairs With Focus RV

One-Stop Workshop

Body, mechanical, electrical, gas, plumbing and cabinetry all under one roof. Most caravan faults cross at least two disciplines, and we don't need to ship your van to a second workshop to finish the repair.

Licensed Trades On Site

Licensed electrical and Type A gas work signed off in-house, with compliance certificates issued the day the work finishes. That matters for your insurance, your warranty and your resale value.

Written Quote Before Work

You approve the scope, parts and cost in writing before work starts. If the repair uncovers something additional (common on older rigs or water damage), we flag it, explain it, and wait for your sign-off before the invoice changes.

All Makes and Models

We repair every major caravan brand and every mainstream campervan and motorhome platform. You don't need to check whether we handle your make before you call.

How a Repair Booking Works With Focus RV

1. Describe the Fault

Call (03) 8383 1026 or email sales@focusrv.com.au with your caravan make, model, age and a description of what's happening. Photos or short video help. If the caravan is undrivable, we can advise on tow options before you organise one.

2. Book a Diagnostic

Book the caravan into the workshop for inspection. Most diagnostics take 1 to 2 hours and cover the main fault you've described plus a walk-around safety check so we can flag anything else worth knowing.

3. Written Quote

We quote the repair in writing, covering labour, parts and timeline. Nothing starts until you sign off on the scope.

4. Repair

Our qualified team carries out the work. You get progress updates at each stage. If we uncover anything additional that wasn't in the scope, we flag it and wait for your approval before doing the extra work.

5. Road Test and Hand-Back

Road test, compliance sign-off where relevant, and a walk-through of the finished repair. You leave with all paperwork, receipts and certificates.
